Elsinore, Denmark June 2012

George went to see the latest sculpture in Denmark. It was revealed in Elsinore on June 2nd. The sculpture is called "Han" ("He") and has obvious references to "The Little Mermaid". "Han" sits like his much older sister on a rock and gazes out to sea. The size is nearly the same and if you wait long enough you will be rewarded by a flash of an eye - after the flash "Han" is again a static sculpture.
It was very windy and George fell over just as this photo was taken. George is seen as a reflection in the polished steel.
The new sculpture is placed on the pier at Elsinore's new cultural centre, The Culture Yard. The Culture Yard is located in the old shipyard in Elsinore harbour.
